Format/Rules For The 2003 Bonspiel

All teams are to be made up of curlers directly employed in a pulp and/or paper mill. The team can be any combination of men and/or women from the same or different mills.

C.C.A. rules shall be in effect throughout the Bonspiel except for the ones mentioned on this page. The 'Moncton Rule' or 'Free Guard Zone Rule' shall be in effect. The organizing committee is the rules committee and all rules are final. Any questions about the rules should be brought to the attention of the organizing committee Wednesday night.

All games except for the Championship Round will be eight ends.

We expect all games to be complete in two hours and have allowed 2 1/2 hours between games. This will allow for one extra end in case of a tie. If game is still tied after nine ends, skip rocks will decide.

The curling draws can be reached from this page and we will try to keep them up to date thruout the bonspiel but no promises.
